If you’ve ever seen Improv Anywhere, then you know they do kewl stuff (Frozen Grand Central Station / 111 Shirtless Men in Abercombie and Fitch)

This time around they . . .”a little league baseball game is turned into a major league event. All players, coaches, and parents do not know what is happening. We worked with the league commissioner to get the kids’ names and access to the field to setup our equipment the morning of the game. He was the only one in on it. NBC Sports worked with us and got us the jumbotron and the blimp.”

I’ve just put up two links in the CyberSpace spot on the right column.  Geekza and Webb Alert. Now, if you’re a geek you know who Morgan Webb is, but if you’re a major geek then you know who Teague “Fig” Chrystie and ChrisHanel are.

Ok, to give you an idea of what you’re in for from Geekza, here is an interview Fig and Chris did with George Takei.

Content Warning

As for Webb Alert, no content warning, but if your wife comments on you watching it too much, well we all know why.

I always thought they should have done more with the Johnny character.  Maybe have had him come to Mr Miyagi for instruction instead of whatever that third movie was supposed to have been.

P.S.  The whole video is here.  Sounds better than YouTube as well.

This one was on HotAir in a post about a 6 year old kid who had the cops called on him by a teacher because he slapped a girl’s butt at recess.  Should the kid have been punished for his actions? Yes, but not having the cops called on him leaving a mark on his school record that when he gets older will certainly cause more trouble than this rates.  “You wanna play football in highschool son? Sorry, can’t have you near the cheerleaders. Why? You slapped a girl on the butt in first-grade.”

Anyway, on the the comment.

I want to point out that I’m fortunate to have been the student of many fine and noble teachers and attended a public high school. My HS math teachers, Mr. Parnes and Mrs. Adelman, could have taught math at the college level and expected excellence from their students. One of my science teachers (who I was fortunate to have had both in a parochial junior high and then later in high school) had done some pioneering work in isolating and identifying amino acids.

However, the fact that they were dedicated professionals doesn’t erase the fact that they were pretty well compensated. I may appreciate the fact that my 8th grade English teacher taught me how to write a three paragraph essay, and admire her ambition for going back to school for a law degree, but it doesn’t mean I have to admire the work she did representing my ex in our divorce.

That last line is good enough to be dubbed a punch line.

I finally broke down and set up a myspace account.  And man if I didn’t hate it before, I certainly do now.  I won’t get into how bad it bites though.  Anyone who’s used it know how untuitive (no not unintuitive, it’s flat out untuitive.)  With wordpress I can make my blog do anything.  If I want a widget, hey widget.  If I don’t want a panel to show up BAM it’s gone.  I don’t even need to have Tom in my blog roll.

Ok, I thought I wasn’t going to get into that.  Ok /rant off.  I may, but more than likely will not, cross post over there.

The only good thing out of the whole ordeal (which I would have never started if someone hadn’t gone ahead and made a fake account of me) was that I foundout about Project Playlist which lets you make a playlist to mp3s that are hotlinkable.  It also has a search for the linkalbes.  Then it gives you the code to stick into myspace or whatever your blog it; so I may be putting up something on the side here.  And no, it won’t start on it’s own. Oy!

Could be Slovenian though, I’m not sure.  I know it’s about a blonde CIA agent/Spy/Something  (I think), so I understand the vid poster using Carter but you’d think there would be at least one shot of Radek Zelenka.  Did you like how I linked a pic of Zelenka on a blog with a CZ extention?  Yeah, I’m kewl like that.
